Why I loved Skyline + want more + ideas

I am big on aliens & science so I know any visiting aliens would be much more advanced than us where their technology would appear like magic to us. Should they want to kill us that should prove quite easy where humanity would soon die without the usual Hollywood saves when there is only death, maybe surrender, luck or worse.

So Skyline did great in bringing us some alien magic and showing humanity getting butt kicked. It was still too humanoid for aliens but that was no surprise.

I would love to see more of Jarrod and Elane in Skyline 2 but they are best doing a rehash of the same time-frame from a Government, science and military perspective; showing the expected arrival, shock of attack, then we personally need to get to know that Stealth bomber pilot. You know the one.

Once that has been done then a Skyline 3 can be the following of both movies where Jarrod the alien beast and pregnant Elaine can team up with Government forces to starting beating the aliens... or to die. My best ending would be for the aliens to just pack up and leave for no reason other than humanity was harvested, their tanks are now full, and time to depart. Billions of humans gone but humanity lives on pondering the eternal question of if they would ever return...
