it sounds like the movie Suspiria to me. i really dont know anything about this movie, i just stumbled upon it while looking up a favorite actress & saw this. but from the description it sounded like that movie, of course Suspiria was about witches but same concept? anybody know more about it & if it should be a film to watch out for?
shareThe book was ABSOLUTELY amazing!! I read it about 8 years ago, and I still have not read a book since then that has topped this book in my eyes (and I read pretty much nonstop). If the movie is anything like the book, it will be a must see. There are no witches in this as you pointed out (but there are creepy vampires), and I have not seen the other movie that you mentioned, but I would advise reading the book and making a decision from there. Is there a release date yet for the movie?!

It seems to me it might have been a much more interesting story to read than watch.
If you read others' comments on the different boards, they will argue the term "vampire" and I completely understand their arguments. It is a loosely held term for this book (but I was thinking of the intake of blood, which is not what you would expect). Just wanted to make that clarification for you so as not to confuse you.
