Superb Sequel

I am addicted to Takeshi Kitano films and have yet to find myself disappointed.

This was a brilliant sequel and along with the previous film it can stand proudly amongst Mr Kitano's other Yakuza classics like Hana-Bi, Sonatine, Brother etc.

Please don't be put off by nay sayers on this forum and judge the film by yourself. I'd recommend it watching it closely after the first film so the characters are still fresh in your head.

No naysayers here. I agree completely, and make a point of watching many of his movies a second/third time. He can be one of the scariest actors in those movies, because he is always so calm and you never know what he is thinking. Any time he is on screen I am glued to what he is doing.
