Jessa as a therapist...

Possibly the most terrifying thing they've come up with for this character so far. Any thoughts on this?

LMAO!...

Most therapists are troubled and sick themselves so it's very fitting.

A lot of therapists/counselors have gone through mental illness/addiction themselves.

I find it more troubling that they didn't actually show her in this "program" she's supposedly in whatsoever, instead focusing solely on her relationship with Adam. That's an interesting storyline, but I would've liked some proof that she actually is working toward becoming a therapist. Particularly since she doesn't have an undergraduate degree and dropped out of college

^ this. I feel like we see the least of Jessa out of all the girls on an independent level. But its kind of fitting as we have seen throughout the series she heavily relies on relationships to satisfy or validate her. Like when Hannah explains about her getting sick in college and not wanting to be alone. Her inability to cultivate friendships and not abandon them, her hasty marriage..Id like to see her and Adam break up and see her stand on her own a bit. I think being a therapist was a great career path for her to follow..Im hoping we see more of journey toward that in this last season

she will recommend her clients to use:

drugs
sex
knives
suicide

You don't have to be perfect yourself in order to help others.
