What would have made this game better?

Here a few personal nitpicks that would've made this game a masterpiece, and not just amazing.
1. A masterchief Cameo: yes this would probably mess the canon up, but it would be awesome, even in just a cutscene. OR in the last level, the pillar of autumn, masterchief fights with you.

2. A more epic campaign. They really missed an amazing opportunity here. This was the fall of a planet and it didn't feel that way. At points it did, but they could have had massive battles. I wanted to travel all over reach battling for survival. Halo 3 felt a lot more like an epic battle. This is my main gripe. The campaign was pretty good, just not great. I personally liked the odst campaign more, that was pretty good actually. Halo 1-3 are masterpieces.

Those are about my only complaints. I loved the new forge and firefight maps. I hope halo 4 will fix the main campaign flaw and bring halo back to glory. Based on the E3 footage it looks like it will.
