Kenny and mexican cop scene

This was just really awkward and uncomfortable, Kenny is literally an innocent (virginal) child in this movie and for an adult to ask him to perform a sexual act was crossing the line for me. Did anyone else feel this way? Why did they even write this part into the movie.

Also way too much swearing, takes away from the movie. It tried to be funny but it just wasn't. I'm surprised Jennifer Antison lowered her acting standards to do this...GARBAGE. I didn't even finish the movie. Don't waste your time.

Agree. The swearing definitely made this movie even more hilarious. To see "Friends" Rachel swearing was totally unexpected and awesome.

reply

Eh... The fact that people take such high offense to it is probably why I like it even more. Formulaicly, there was nothing special, but the cast had great chemistry, and there were some truly laugh-out-loud moments (Unlike other "acclaimed" comedies, *cough* Neighbors *cough*)

reply

Then I suggest you stick to watching Friends.

I was expecting more of this movie to take place in Mexico, and more dialogue to be in Spanish. The scene with the cop, Guzman HAD TO be set in Mexico to work. But other scènes like: Camping with the Fitzgeralds, escape from Pablo Chacón & Rose does a strip-tease could have taken place before the border crossing.

Kenny in the hospital had to be set in the USA to make sense.

Also, the dialogue between Pablo Chacón & 1-Eye at the "Mandingo fighting" should have been in Spanish.

You mean this gringo with the haircut of a donkey?

reply

I couldn't stop laughing when I heard David's plan explaining with butt and soda cap. I mean it was so funny especially the expressions of both after explaining the plan.

Why did they even write this part into the movie.

To air their homosexual agenda.Remember when Sudeikis' character says that you're a homophobe if you don't put another man's penis into your mouth, that was just an affirmation of homosexualism. And the skateboard/black penis drawing. And the enlarged testicles. And lots of other verbal references aimed at presenting homosexuality in a positive light.
The whole movie is just a homosexual ad.

Somewhat agree. loveald. But the main agenda seems to be legalizing pot..look what sweet white-bread types played the Millers.

Because this is a comedy and the scene is funny for most people. Sorry you are so sensitive and have high moral standard.

reply

It's a comedy, lighten up.

This was not your creative project, so to state "too much this" and "this crossed the line" is useless. Didn't like the film? Steer clear next time. Or stick to family-friendly comedies.

Also way too much swearing, takes away from the movie.

What was it that was there, to be taken away by the swearing? Do you flinch everytime someone swears?

I'm surprised Jennifer Antison lowered her acting standards to do this...GARBAGE.
Those A-listers really do surprise us don't they?!

We've met before, haven't we?
