The Opening

I'm sure the opening of the show has been discussed before, but I just thought I'd mention a couple of things.

When Kody says something like, "Love should be multiplied, not divided," that is strictly from the male point of view in plural marriage. The females experience just the opposite reality.

When Christine says something like, "I wanted a family. I didn't just want a man," isn't that most women's desire when they get married?" It just takes a little longer when there aren't other wives and children already in place.

It's all a matter of how you look at things, and with some of these women, maybe the way they've had to rationalize things. There have certainly been instances where they didn't get along with one or more of their sister wives for long periods of time, but they stuck it out for a variety of reasons.

Excellent point about multiplying vs dividing love for the men and women, respectively.
