TV Listings should call it 'Movie Macabre'

Locally, the listings only show the movie's name, with no mention of Elvira in the description, and I missed the first few shows because of this.

I loved the series back in the '80's, and I'm sure more people would tune in if they knew it was back.

There's no consistency with the TV listings. Some are listing the title of the film she's hosting, some are listing it as "Movie Macabre," and others are listing it under it's proper title, "Elvira's Movie Macabre." I was moments away from missing the premiere myself for the very same reason... and my on-screen listings have changed from one title to the next on a weekly basis.

I agree! I just know that it comes on 4am central on THIS network every Sunday morning.

Come on, Franklin! It'll be a fun trip!

Yeah, it would get more viewers if they called it Elvira's Movie Macabre. The only reason I discovered it in the first place is that I was flipping channels and I saw her doing her thing before a commercial break. Otherwise there wasn't any indication it was her show.

This week for the first time since I discovered this new show on Halloween night it was finally listed as Elvira's Movie Macabre in my channel guide. Makes me wonder if actually having the show title there consistently would improve ratings. I bet many, many people have just flipped right through it after seeing the usually crappy movie title. Really, what else could be on during the odd hours this airs?

My DVD missed this a few times, I wonder if the title renaming is the reason?

"Have they re-aired any of the shows on the weekends when no new episode was scheduled?"

Yes, they have, several times so far.

I was so pissed when the station I watched it on canned it in favor of random late night movies, they started with horrible horror and then just move to horrible.
