Smee (again!)

Just read that Bob Hoskins is cast to play Smee in this new take of JM Barrie's classic fable, and just hope that he is as good as he was in Spielberg's Hook.

Funny how this has come around after so long.

I saw that too! Very cool! In fact, that's how I found out about this show. Hook was on, so I was roaming the actor profiles and saw Neverland on Hoskins' list.

I just saw a promo on Syfy for this and saw Bob. Can't wait to see him in action as Smee again!

"Smee! Smee! What about Smee?! ... Wait, Smee's me!"

When will this be airing on television? I haven't seen previews for it.

reply

I've only seen previews that hint at sometime in December. Nothing though with a specific date.

I just seen a commersial for it. Made me wonder if this was a loose prequel to Hook.

reply

If it is a loose prequel, then it's as loose as a hooker suffering from about 30 STD's and has aids.

Well isn't that special?

reply

Actually it is supposed to be a prequel to all the Peter Pan movies. It is supposed to be before Wendy was there.

reply

Just saw the promo. Yeah, it is cool they got Bob Hoskins again. Always been a fan of his.

I love to love my Lisa.

reply

Sooo, is this the official prequel to both Peter Pan and Hook if Hoskins is in it? Or are they bringing the actor back because they liked him in the role of Smee, like how they brought back Judy Dench as M for the reboot of Bond, even though it has no connection to the previous films
