I have to give props to all the behind the scenes people. The set designs and production was amazing. The canopy setup, with the floor and the massive screens in the background, Taylor Swifts antique set, Paramore's lightbulb set, very nice.
The 80's wanted so badly to be the future. 2010 is the future.
Agree on the set; I've stopped watching the show, but the Taylor Swift set was great. Pleasently surprised by it.

Yeah, I was gonna start a thread on this. It looks amazing. And they really stepped up on the performances, I think they have people playing during the commercials as well. Must at least be cool to be in attendance.

shareBut the sound was horrible. That narration was hard to decipher over the music, and it sounded like he was mumbling most of the time. I fast-forwarded through most of it and although I find Chelsea Handler sometimes? Whoever wrote the jokes for last night should get canned by MTV and NEVER write jokes for a show again.
