I looked on facebook and there's already a beverly hills fanpage set up by Reality Wives. The problem with facebook is that I like that to be my private life with friends and family. on IMDb we have the freedom of being anonymous. An offical RHOBH fansite would be fun, but I already run another fansite and I just don't have it in me to start up an additional workload. I think Bravo used to allow comments on their site for RHOBH but closed them during the Brandi fiasco. ? I never really went there but a few times. IMDb is doing a real disservice to tv and movie fans everywhere by closing down the fanbase voice.

shareOn that Bravo site, they would not print everything that people wrote. They did not print any of my posts, because they were critical of the show. No swearing or anything, everything within terms of service, but mine were never printed. They wanted mostly positive reviews, and only a few critical of the characters. So, that is not a good site.

Bravo's board was heavily monitored and it became too much trouble! I remember the threads created were also repetitive which became frustrating for them and the users! I do miss it though; therefore this place will be missed as well!

shareNone of these sites lasts forever! I also kept a running commentary on Yahoo's old 360 site! When they shut down due to pornographic content more than likely, I lost a lot of posts and data; same with Multiply.com where I had blogs for other Bravo shows like "Shear Genius, Top Design," and a couple other regulars!

shareYes, I'm not sure what a closed group is but it might be fun, if I can be anonymous. I like Facebook but it's mostly for friends and family, and to tell you the truth I can't honestly be myself there because ALL of my family are extremely liberal democrats, and 98% of my friends too, and I'm a little conservative/moderate holdout so I can't really say what I think/feel without feeling like everyone is going to shun me :(
I even have an aunt who WOULD shun me, sadly. This political race got so bad, I just basically stopped posting anything, because I am not a member of that club. But I might join a group on Facebook that is closed, whatever that means :)

You create a group and moderate who can be invited. That way it's anonymous because no one can see it even though we use our real names. I'm not sure if people want to do it though.
I am with you on the political stuff, our family has been torn apart by it and I'm sick to death of it all.
