Loved this movie! Release?

Saw what I believe was the very first public screening of this a few weeks ago, and loved it (as most of the audience seemed to). They were going to be showing it at further film festivals, and I'd love to hear how it does at those, and when distribution/release is set. Hope someone else shows up to discuss soon.... It's lonely here.

It's for sale and stream on Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/Green-Cheyenne-Jackson/dp/B005KBP07W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322072312&sr=8-1 ) and available for rent on Netflix.

Thanks--I did find that info on the movie's website after posting, and was very disappointed that such a good movie did not (from all I can tell) get a theatrical release. It's just frustrating that so much dreck or just mediocre stuff sits in cineplexes for weeks, and this doesn't even get in. Such fine actors (it was hearing that Jason Butler Harner and Cheyenne Jackson were starring that got me so interested to see this), direction and a taut, really spine-tingling script deserve better.

I agree that this movie ought to be released in theaters, so people can see that an independent film can have good production. If nothing else, educators should see it to understand the implication that might happen to some of their seemingly innoculous actions towards their students. Fortunately for me, I have taught at private schools and universities where students have been using this kind of false or partially false accusations against teachers or professors to bargain for grades. At the last school I taught, there was a rule against teachers touching students, but not the other way around. I protected myself by wearing long sleeve shirts and white gloves so if my elementary students touch me, I could not be accused of inappropriate behavior. When I taught college, I announced on the first day that no student can come within one meter of me, or I would deduct their grade. They were to leave their reports or examination sheets on their desk for me to come to pick them up later. Paranoid? Yes, but better be safe than sorry, right?
