What did she hope to gain by meeting her birth mother?
It seemed like she just was hoping for an apology. Or a declaration of "I regret it, I wanted you". but the woman (NOT mother to her) didn't. I know the scene in the end where she wrote her that note shows the woman DID feel regret and remorse bc she's crying but that doesn't change her feelings of not ever wanting her or her brother. Why couldn't the girl just leave it alone and accept that her mother didn't want her, but those "people" who she stopped calling her parents DID want her and loved her?
