I don't think most people would argue with you on that. Many pro-life people believe that *all* life is precious and important. But yes, some are hypocritical in what they view as murder and what they don't. They seem to get a lot of attention, but I really believe they are in the minority.

Well the "what will they do if we ban it?" argument is just as invalid. Why not just legalise heroine so that at least people who use it are less likely to get HIV? You're basically arguing that because a few people would otherwise go to extreme measures and put themselves in massive danger, the whole thing should be legalised.

The "lets kill loads of people" solution to overpopulation isn't a very good one. While we're at it, lets stop looking for a cure for cancer, encourage the spread of AIDS and champion serial killers as heroes of our time. Overpopulation is almost entirely in the developing world anyway, abortion won't "solve" the problem anyway.
