This movie was great. It was like The Wire meets the Blair Witch Project. They portrayed the ghetto perfectly. I should know, I've been there before (North Side, St. Louis and East St. Louis). How tha heck does this movie get such a poor rating? What an extremely underrated movie. It's a damn shame, it deserves a much higher rating.

shareLike what? Black people do a lot of the ordinary,everday things that white people do---once again, not ALL black people live in the ghetto,or can even relate to that lifestyle. Also keep in mind, other folks of color and even white folks live in these ghetto sometimes, so don't stereotype,please.

shareI understand your view and the other guy's view. Even though white and black people are very similar but also very different. And as much as we believe that we're equal, the majority of society still see black people stereotypically. And rightfully so. I mean, it's not correct nor right to view black people stereotypically, but when the majority of rappers are black and they encourage the "thug" lifestyle, they're not presenting black people in a good light.
shareI'm white, girl from Detroit, except for the dialog, it was so much like the streets in Detroit. I really couldn't see how they kept people in character so well. It seemed so real. So know its not all white people voting it down. To me it was like an inner city version of KIDS.
