movie about self indulgent WASPS ***SPOILERS****

just got done watching this movie and it really just kinda pissed me off.

the way the mom handles her kids problems are just ridiculous. it seems that the more money you have and the more entitled you are you can pay a therapist to come up with all sorts of excuses for the way you are and the bad things you do.

such first world problems "waaaa, my mommy is mean to me" "waaaa my parents are divorced" the mom in the movie is SO neurotic she's pushing her neuroses onto her kids. i wanted to her to just STFU and let it be her sons big day but no, she constantly had to make it about her and what she has to do to "deal" with her kids diagnoses (self harmer, depression, addiction, anxiety and mild Aspergers)

she is so involved with soothing them and making their problems the center of attention is to the point of enabling!

i wish i wouldn't have wasted my time on this movie.

i was seriously disappointed that Elliot didn't die at the end. he should of.... he had everything lined up to do so (floating in a massive river with probably a pretty strong current, he was super drunk and super high....not to mention suicidal). ODing on fentynl like that is easier than you'd think.
