What was also strange was immediately after that shot you saw the younger son sitting on a bed nude contemplating the clothes that appeared to have been put out for him.
I think it was meant as a small penis joke. The scenes where all about how they get ready for the big day, Patty getting riled up like a Torero / pitbull with lipstick, the naked man with a Martini in the morning, the smart little kid with a baseball helmet complementing his suit. (Btw the kid was wearing underwear)
