Dark Tourist is not a great movie. Mediocre plot, average directing, but EXCELLENT acting. Michael Cudlitz and Melanie Griffith are superb here, and turn what could be a bad film into one that is compelling and engrossing. It's well worth seeking out if you like either of these actors.
shareIt's worth watching if you're an actor, I think. The performances are stunning. But the film as a whole still missed for me, a non-actor, due to its weak, thin story. It was painfully predictable and a lot of the dialogue was slipshod as well. All the best parts were when no one was talking!
Real master class for anyone in the profession though.
