Mickey Mouse

I remember reading online that on an episode of "South Park", the mascot for Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, was portrayed as a greedy, foul-mouthed sadistic boss who only cares about money. I think he also threatens the Jonas Brothers.
So, a few weeks ago, I watched a new episode of "MAD" on Cartoon Network, and the last skit of this 10-minute show was called "Mouse" (a parody of "House", which I've never seen before).
In it, Mr. Mouse walks on a cane and treats everyone rudely and aggressively-- There was even a part where we saw a seemingly insane Miley Cyrus thinking she's Hannah Montana, making him state that she's delusional, getting her mad and threatening to sue. Obviously not the Mickey Mouse all kids know and love.
That exact thing made me wonder (but remember that I get the feeling that the main character in the real show acts the same way): Did they choose Mickey for this, because they got this idea from "South Park"? Or was it when the Walt Disney Company announced that they will re-brand him away from his kind & cheerful side and more into his mischievous & devious side?
Either way, it was awesome!

Missed that one. Just saw one today with Mickey Mouse as a rat exterminator (I actually thought it was pretty funny).

Thing is, both shows poke fun at pop culture. Micky Mouse is a major iconic figure. There's going to be overlap. If your a fan a South Park, then you know Simpsons did it first anyway.

And Simpsons copied it from someone else. (See: South Park, Season 6, "Simpsons Did It")

In "Mouse", he is mean because Dr gregory House is mean. And he says Miley Cyrus is delusional because she says everyone loves Hannah Montana. Ecoutez:
Mouse: The patient's name is Miley Cyrus, but she insists she's Hannah Montana.
Miley: I AM Hannah Montana, and everyone loves me!
Mouse: She's clearly delusional.
