Really good physics

For the first time in the movies of this genre one has good physics..
No more parallel flying or strange lift force.
The gravity looks normal in this movie.
I really enjoyed it!

yup, you're right. except when they were leaping from rooftop to rooftop at one stage, but this was acceptable. great fight scenes with great physics - horrible when you can't see the strings but the physics makes it so obvious we may as well be able to see them!

Actually if you were paying attention all the buildings were stacked next to each other. I bet you would be able to leap if you tried.

I was pleased to see it was fairly minimal, which was quite surprising considering the original title of the film.

Well, how about the idea that someone with enough qi can withstand sword cuts to the torso and neck, and can change the density of his body (for a while at least)?

I'm ok with this as long this fit the physics universe created in movie.

If you remember matrix (first movie) when at the end Neo hits agent Smith with his leg, and Agent flies across the hall with some wavy motions. That was really bad looking flying.

Right. A fight film like this establishes its own rules of physics. No way is this "reality," though. No more than a Road Runner cartoon.
