ep. #2, song is different in n. america - help

i am in vancouver. i watched episode 2 last night and i was struck by the pop song martha listens to while she is alone in her apartment. its definitely not lucy jordan by the initmitable marrianne faithfull. i assume there was a copyright issue with lucy jordan and they swapped in a new song. it sounded like a song from the sixties and it was quite torchy and i did not recognize the singer. some of the lyrics went "love me please love me the whole night through." i'm pretty sure its an oldie but it could be contemporary made to sound old. anyone know the song? thanks.

I know you probably won't see this reply, but in case anyone else has the same question:

"Love Me, Please Love Me," sung by by Sandie Shaw, a British pop singer of the 1960s.
