"We'll be right back with more Jon Benjamin Has a Van"!

In other words, this is definitely going to be Tosh.0's next segue. What do you think?

I think the guy is hilarious, I hope his new show turns out to be a good idea. He does the voices for tons of funny cartoons, and this seems like something totally different. If he has a good idea, then it will be awesome because he is funny to begin with. but if it is a bad idea, then it will be just another crappy show that gets cancelled

althoough comedy central has had some surprise hits recently, with the new season of South Park / Workaholics combo (which got picked up for a second season. snoogins.)

i laughed my ass off tonight infront of the TV, something that has become all too rare for us jaded, desensitized fools.

I won't be expecting anything amazing from this show, but I am looking forward to John Benjamin doing some live action comedy on screen. It should be interesting.

You beat me to it. The promos for this show looked promising. I didn't like it 2 minutes into it. The skits fell flat. They were more annoying than entertaining.

reply

this was the most colossally unfunny show i have ever seen.

"Liberal Media" is the last resort of people who don't have facts on their side.

reply

Tosh is for idiots who like lowest common denominator humor. He sucks. Wow, a guy who makes smarmy, punchline-free comments about viral videos. Brilliant.

Jon Benjamin, on the other hand, is trying to do something original and unique. Maybe this show is not everyone's cup of tea, and maybe not every moment works, but in two episodes, it has already made me laugh much more than Tosh EVER has.

I think you described pretty much my opinion of the show thus far. Every sketch has been pretty dull. I couldn't believe that Little Little Italy sketch. What an unfunny achingly long sketch. The man on the street bits like Cash Stall had me laughing out loud, as did You Can't Shoot Here. The extended border crossing sketch and little little Italy just went on and on.

reply

The Little Little Italy sketch definitely had points that weren't funny, but there were some good parts.

The tiny bomb and the part where he found out she was 14 made me chuckle. Also, I liked the border crossing sketch a lot, but I know a lot of people didn't like that one.

reply

Yeah, that Little Little Italy sketch might have singlehandedly killed the show. You can't have something that long and unfunny in the second episode, no matter how awesome Jon Benjamin is..

reply

Dude, little little italy was amazing. You have no funny.

reply

jbhv is amazing come on now!!!! you cant shoot here , cash stall, stealing from the surveilance store, jew them down LOL

the main bits i agree are hit and miss but mostly enjoyable. theres something to watching something as deranged as this.

Netflix has this show check it out jbhv fans.
