As per a THR article, it is scheduled to begin next month, so February.

Yes, I had read last year that they are meant to start filming in January 2011. I am waiting for the IMDb homepages of this movie and that of Chris Pine's to change from pre-production to filming status.

Remember - Alex Kurtzman is also one of the main writers of the Star Trek sequel, which is supposed to start filming in May/June this year, which, of course, also stars Chris Pine. So it means that both Alex Kurtzman (writer/director of this film) and Chris will need to be available for the Star Trek movie.

Yes Star Trek 2012 we dream about it, right? ... But "Welcome to People" looks pretty good and was included in "2010 Black List: Most Liked Scripts in Hollywood" .... has a great cast. ... and Michelle Pfeiffer as a mother of the character of Chris, is not amazing? ... I really want to see this movie!

Im watching them film right now at my apt complex, and the red convertible is here, I just wish that it wasnt taking so long... Its really interfering with my son playing outside!!
