I had a dream about the release date...

i know this sounds silly and it just goes to show how lame my dreams can be sometimes, but i had a dream concerning the release date of the film...i cant recall the situaton i was in during the dream, but the weird thing was that in my dream there were 2 release dates concerning the film...one was december 31, 2011 while the other, a bit more obscure, was august 2012...im sure its not a premonition or anything...prob just the fact that im just desperate to hear some news on this movie already...anyhow, sorry for the useless post, but not much else goin on in this board for the time being...lol

Dreamworks had a strong opening weekend with Real Steel hitting Number One at $27.3M. That is a good number but not outstanding. They need some strong commercial successes to help insure that sufficient funding is in place to launch smaller films like WTP. My guess is a Spring or late Summer 2012 release is most likely. That strategy worked well for films like Midnight in Paris, which appealed to older, urban audiences versus the fan boy crowd. If WTP is good, Dreamworks must get behind it with an effective release and marketing plan.
