It depends on how you define INCEST, but

Whichever way you wanna watch it, there was a tricky-script reason why it took so long for a reasonable articulate guy to act for such a long while to the extent of letting his half-blood sister to become emotionally involved before saying what he had zillion of ways and moments to tell her the truth. It took a day for his girlfriend to warn him but his answer was outlandish for an experienced snake-oil trader : "I don't know how to say it".

yeah I thought the same, I think he fell in love for her, the chemistry was unbelievable

The chemistry is entirely chris pine and Elizabeth banks like any actor they have to have great chemistry too make it more believable for audiences. You can generally tell when actors hate one another off screen because its fabricated the relationship.

Anyways sam at first wasn't going to say anything all, he just wanted to find out who this person was who his father gave this huge sum of money too. As he got to know her and her relationship with their father it changed him. Sam was never going to let it get too far he just didn't know how to tell her until he had no choice he but to.

Its not hard to believe it's human nature sometimes people get so so deep within a lie they just can't bring themselves to tell the truth. They either run away from it or they start to believe in that lie they created and live by it.

Sam tired to run but he got lured back by a call for help.
