I just came across an article saying that a sequel to the movie is in the works.
I for one am pretty excited about this news as I loved the show and the first movie. I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas for whatthe sequel could be about?
Obviously at the end of the movie the guys seemed to grow up and mature from their original characters so what do you think they could be like now?

Im excited about it... I had never seen the show before we saw and reviewed this.. They could easily do one about them in college.

Hope you're right mate. The series were amazing and the film was very funny.
Personally I wouldn't mind seeing them still socially awkward but grown up (mid 20's - especially as they don't look like kids any more) and maybe with Will still a virgin though - There are endless possibilities and ridiculous situations they could get into. Neil as a dad has me smiling already. Simon with a steady GF/wife even, while Carly realises she now wants him....
Please let there be a sequel
I imagine it would centre around one of them getting hitched, and they have a stag-do in Amsterdam or something, and then a shambolic wedding

The two main stars just did a podcast on the smodcast network. Google 'Tell'em Steve Dave'. They confirmed that The Inbetweeners is over. The whole cast is pretty much moving on to other works.
