Ending ruined it

The movie is no blockbuster but I enjoyed it,well most of it...The ending wasn't a satisfying one at all n not worthy of what happened with rest of movie.

I think the last half-hour completely clashed with the rest of the movie. We live in a world where the majority of teenagers' sole exposure to witches is pretty benevolent. Most teenagers have read or seen Harry Potter, or grown up watching "Wizards of Waverly Place."

Then going to a girl's house and murdering her goat because a guy said she was a nice witch. If anything, there should have been an eyeroll. Yeah, right. Then that would have been it. The ending ruined the entire movie for me.

I have to agree. What was that sudden turn. No one in school had even the slighest idea and then - boom - it's like witch hunt. stretched.

If they had established that the neighborhood was really the conservative religious type against any kind of pagan cult or whatever, I think I could've buy it(meaning they would be against any stuff, like Wicca). But nope, suddenly it's Halloween and just because someone says she's a witch (w/no evidence/proof to support the claim) it's witch hunt? It really went downhill from there.

I agree that they're trying to make a sequel with this abrupt ending, I'm just not sure if this movie was popular enough to warrant one. :( (For a moment I thought it was based in some book trilogy)

What's up w/the blessed one being so creepy?

Yeah it was bizzare how everyone suddenly Believed she was a witch then attacked her then because she went to a hair salon, they loved her. Really poor writing.

The part where she healed everybody was pretty nice though, quite special but then it seemed like they are fishing for a sequel with that ending
