Filming location (EvoIII)

I spotted a Lancer Evolution III which would be extremely illegal in California... which is where I was thinking this was filmed due to all the fake plates. Then I read it's actual location was B.C. which made sense as they can import the car legally, and easily.

Seems the producer or director was a car guy with the movie vehicles chosen (Modified mustang, BMW Alpina) The Evolution III was definitely chosen, proven by a goof when Brian leaves Jimmy's right after the money drop the Evo III is on the other side of the street, but when Brian parked it was parked in front of Jimmy's.

Anyway, spotting the car was the highlight of the movie for me, as the ending moments really were disappointing. It could have been better, Luke Goss was quite good in "Interview With A Hitman".
