Does this count as a movie?

There are a lot of bad movies in the world, but very few of them are bad enough to make me question what exactly defines a movie. Is a story necessary, or is the runtime enough? What do you think?

Haha the same thought crossed my mind as well. As in, what is this, is it even really a movie? No main characters, no story arc, nothing that could technically make it a movie. Having essentially a montage of wrestling matches doesn't count as one I don't think.

Had a few funny moments, usually when they were parodying things (BBC docs, wrestling characters, cliches of each monster, etc), but not much going for it beyond that & Dave Foley. Not bad for a budget of $200k, but basically another case of great idea, mediocre execution...

"dude i dont care i just love this movie you guys have a realy taste in movies what wrong with you"

This was one of those "movies" where you just had to take it as it comes. I don't think it was meant to be great, it was just meant to be a film for fans who just so happen to be into wrestling and horror films. I looked at it as a nice effort because the production value was not bad, but it was more a parody of Monday Night Raw with monsters. It was not meant to be great, it was just meant to be fun.

Exactly Bob. This film is like old school 80's gimmick wrestling. You need to understand the era of wrestling to understand the film.

I guess it counts as a movie but its a really bad one. I like wrestling and I like monsters but this is like some kind of low budget student film or something and not a credible movie.

im fine with a movie not having a storyline and just being there for the purpose of dumb entertainment but this movie sucked regardless. One look at the cyclops character and i instantly hated this movie. You can see the slits where the actors eyes look through and the single eye of the cyclops didnt even move he just moved his head to point the eye where he wanted to look. I'm a big fan of monster movies so i like my monsters to look either awesome or terrible on purpose, these Terrible practical effect that took me right out of this one.

I like monsters, I like wrestling, I hated this movie. The wrestling quality was crap, the monster makeup was ok, crap acting as expected and just flat out no fun to be had.

Honestly, it came across more as a series of web episodes that were collected on a DVD/instant release. It probably would have been more effective at building an audience that way, too. It really doesn't stand up well as a full-length film watching experience, and the low budget doesn't bring anything extra to the table.
