How have some of you seen it?

I've read some reviews online about this film that get pretty specific.
It wasn't in theaters (for good reason) and it's going to dvd in mid October.
Where have you guys been watching it? Is there some site that has it or something?
If so, sure that's illegal, but this film looks so bad I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay to see it.
I admit, I'm curious to see how bad it is because the last 2 Hellraiser films and the one where they're in space were so bad!

Anyone know?

It had a small release actually in theaters, nothing even remotely big enough to mention. But it was released to a few theaters. It is also available on demand (atleast on DirecTV) and on iTunes to rent.

Hope that helps!

it wasn't even on pirate release sites until yesterday, in case you're still looking

It's on DVD at Blockbuster, and it's actually nowhere near as bad as everyone's making it out to be. I really believe that people are so obsessed with the fact that Doug Bradley isn't in it that they're letting that blind them to the fact that this is actually one of the better sequals. The acting is certainly nothing to write home about (then again, in the Hellraiser series, it really hasn't been since Hellbound), but the production values and script completely blow away everything from #4 onward.

I really wish that people could go into this with an open mind and enjoy it without getting hung up on Bradley's absence and condemning the movie for it.

i'm pretty indifferent towards Doug Bradley or even the series tbh, but the new pinhead seemed a little upstaged by his sidekick in this movie. THAT guy was creepy

Doug's absence is the least of the film's problems.

If you truly believe this has a better script and production values than the last four, you must be illiterate and blind. Or, more likely, just a contrarian. "Everyone hates it? Well, I like it, then! I see the qualities the rest of the fools are too blind to take in!"

I just saw it and yes, I thought it was crap, but I did think that the story was mediocre but not outright horrible. It was just EVERYTHING ELSE, from production values to casting, that made this film a train wreck. It's no wonder why Clive Barker stated that this did not even come out of his backside. I did enjoy seeing Steven Brand (i.e. Memnon from The Scorpion King) being in this movie. Too bad he had a mediocre role in the film and is practically unrecognizable. So in essence:

Story- 4/10

Casting- .5/10 (The .5 only for Steven Brand)

Everything else (which makes a far larger percentage than Story and Casting)- 0/10

This in turn is why it's 2/10 as an overall grade.

I own it on DVD.

Well, I purchased the DVD when it was released. In my opinion, it's actually not as bad as Hellraiser: Hellworld was. Give this film a chance. I think you'll be in for a pleasant surprise.

I got my DVD at a video store. I think it was pretty cheap. And a decent film.

I went to a pawn shop and found it on Blu-Ray. I thought it was pretty good.
