Definitely the worst hellraiser and ending wtf?

I don't see how some people think this isn't the worst in the franchise, also wtf was with the ending, why was she looking in the camera, made no sense at all.

"Víctor García" get another job before you ruin more movies.

I think 5 was the worst. This was terrible, but at least called back to the original. I would put 9 as the 2nd or 3rd worst, along with 8.

reply

What the hell dude. Hellraiser 5 was a masterpiece compared to this.

reply

None of them were masterpieces compared to anything.

You are either blind or too much of a pinhead fanboy to be unable to see the huge differences between the movies' quality.

reply

I couldn't care less about Pinhead, so I guess I'm blind, right?

You are free to articulate any point you're attempting to make instead of trying to insult me. "Quality" is a pretty broad term, so what exactly are you hanging about? Most of these sequels had meager budgets, so none had particularly spectacular production values. I don't recall being impressed by any special effects, and I don't have any special affinity for gore. Five aimed high with its crime mystery, but the writing quality felt pretentious, like a noir too cool for school deal.

I don't even remember anything that happened in Revelations, so obviously that left no impression on me either, but I do recall it at least having something to do with Hellraiser mythology, as vague as that is.

Or are you talking about acting quality? That's pretty bad for most of these films as well. I liked Kari Wuhrer's work in Deaders. And I think the lead in six was better than the lead in five. The acting in the first one was decent too. But like I said, none of these are masterpieces.

reply

So you don't even remember anything about revelations and you're trying to make a point. Well then, maybe you should rewatch both of them and come back.
Inferno has way superior acting, way better story, way better special effects, way better plot. Revelations effects are pretty bad even compared to the 1st movie, the acting is cringeworthy and plain bad for most of the film, and the story is basically a rehash from 1,2 and other movies, but completelly devoid of the character depth and other points that made those movies interesting.
Sure, inferno is a b-grade movie, but at least it's worth watching. Revelations just feel like a bad student movie that you'll be wondering why the hell did you waste 1 hour of your life with such bad entertainment.

reply

Maybe you shouldn't reply to 6 month old comments?

I remember enough to know that Revelations sucked. And Inferno sucked too. I watched them all back to back over the summer. They pretty much all sucked.

reply

Then you dont know much about filmmaking, Inferno is way better than this at art direction, cinematography, script, continuity, acting, directing, editing, visual effects, etc. So, go read about what film is about, your opinion is almost as stupid as this movie.

reply

I've studied plenty of filmmaking and film theory, thanks. You can split hairs about the cinematic competency of each film's crew all you want--Inferno is still garbage, as is Revelations, and pretty much the entire Hellraiser series.

reply

Yah well reddit and Wikipedia don't count, you sound just like a mix of that.

reply

inferno is like one of the best of the series its easily better then 3 or 4 an especially this this is like a childs home made hellraiser film i could have made this

Minus Wikipedia lol.
