First, I'm totally for this option for those that want to use it.
What I would like to see is an amendment to the law to make it illegal for
insurance companies to suggest it to clients as an option. Other than that this
law is something all civilized countries should allow their citizens to vote on.
To my way of thinking what happened to the man with prostate cancer was despicable but not surprising.
Well, after he went public about the insurance company's statement/decision, they agreed to do his treatment... He died 4 weeks later. In hindsight, it would appear the insurance company was accurate in suggesting he choose a more peaceful route. But if you're gonna fight, you'll fight
shareIn this case you are absolutely correct but I fear situations where insurance companies start suggesting this option as a cost savings to get out of treating those who still want treatment.
