Cody was an amazing woman

As suggested by another poster I googled Cody's obituary and found out that not only did she bravely and gracefully face her death, but she was an extraordinary woman. Unfortunately the cancer cut short the life of a woman who had so much more to offer the world. RIP Cody and thank you to the Curtis family for sharing her with us.

I agree. I sobbed at the end because I felt like I personally lost someone I knew my entire life. I don't cry much so that was a big deal for me. She was just that type of beautiful person that will make anyone like her immediately. We may not all agree with her decision to end her life, but I don't think anyone would not like her as a person.

I would have to agree, a remarkable and strong woman.

Thank you for sharing your final months.

I completely agree. Cody just that type of personality that made you feel like you had known her for years. I too was in tears when, after a glimmer of hope, she passed. Kind, warm, confident, bold, and the sweetest voice I've ever heard. Thank you Curtis family. Your mom will live forever due to her (and your) courage to participate in this film.

I just finished watching this on Netflix and I agree completely. She really stood out in this film as the person who stayed strong until she couldn't take the pain any longer.

Just finished watching this tonight and I kept thinking what a brave women and what a wonderful way to go; surrounded by loved ones, comfy in her own bed and by her own choice.

We should all be so lucky.

She was indeed amazing. The fact that a woman like that could be stricken with terminal cancer at such a young age tells me that there is no God, and that the universe is unjust. Her husband & children are so lucky to have had her.

I live in Portland, Oregon and I sure wish I had had the chance to meet her. Sorry, if my typing is bad. I'm wiping away tears.
