SPOILERS --> In the end...

In the end... When Marlowe had just died and Adam and Eve where really hungry, why couldn't they just drink a bit of blood from Marlowe's familiar.

Without killing him or turning him.

Maybe he could even have offered. Cut his finger, dripped on a glass, and there you go.
Just thinking out loud.

Didn't Marlowe die from tainted blood? If they drank him I think they too would get ill and possibly die.

Yes you're right.

But I wrote "drink blood from Marlowe's familiar", as in, his apprentice, his human-aide. The guy who let them in.

Familiars are the humans who serve vampires.

Drinking a bit from him would surely have helped, right?

Sorry, I misunderstood the term. I see your point. Imo, I'm not sure if that would have furthered the story in any way. I felt like the story was compact (for lack of a better word) in that every scene seemed integral to the film. I guess it could be argued that the scene with the girl singing in the club may not have bee an important bit, but I loved that scene. The music was spellbinding.

In that, you're absolutely right.
