Ok, guys. I can understand using young men to play teenager roles but...
Why did they choose a 40 years old to play a 28 years old?
The mother in this movies is only 7 years older than the first son.
We have a lot of actors in their 20 or 30... I think.

Agree completely. I kept getting hung up on how old Myles Pollard looked in this role. It is not that he himself looks old, it was just bad casting trying to have him play first a teenager and then a twenties-something man--it simply did not work.
