Do people in England really call names to gay passengers?


I've never been to the UK, but I imagined it to be more tolerant to gay public display of affection.

Bigotry is very much thriving in the U.K. I live in a big British city where the inhabitants are generally well-known for being tolerant of minority groups, and in my neighbourhood (mixed, fairly close to the centre), PDA's between two men simply doesn't happen here, though in other areas this isn't the case.

I've personally kissed my boyfriend goodbye at train stations many times (I'm male) and I've had no problems at all so I think it just depends where you go same as any country
