Waste of time, dont be trapped by reviews & rating

I have seen and appreciate art movies. I have deep respect for the LGBT community. But totally disappointed by this. The only catch point of the movie was it is a gay movi, has gay couple doing gay kissing, sex and lot of drugs. The story-line just sucks balls. Come on guys, a same story for a straight couple would have been given 1* by the same reviewers. Just because it has a gay couple it does not make the movie worthwhile. I waited patiently for something to happen but zilch, nada. Wish I could get back my time.

I appreciated the dialogue and the conversations they had. They felt very real and I felt the movie was not trying to have your earth-shattering gay love story so straight people can look at it and be like "awww." Nope. It was the depth of emotion and the sincerity of their conversations that got to me. It was a very successful realistic attempt to capture what it's like to fall in love, not some kind of surreal rendition.

I also disagree with you that a movie like this with straight people wouldn't have been successful. That's simply not true. Before Sunset comes to mind, but I'm sure there are tons.
