Daniel is a complete nutjob mental case and would never have been able to give her a stable relationship and never would have made the kind of father she needed for her children.

Well, that's a bit much to say... but I am glad they didn't get married either, for other reasons.

I liked her with Donnie I only saw her and Daniel as friends and crime solving partners not that is insignificant.I could never see Kate with Daniel romantically.

Why would Kate even consider marry Daniel? It's not like they were dating or something.
