Fridges

I noticed this a lot on the show, why do they put all this work into the houses...new paint, tile, cabinets and appliances but they almost never have a fridge. Just a spot for the fridge and that's it.

I noticed that myself when I watch it and why do they always take a bathtub out and put a walk in shower if their is only 1 bathroom. i would think they would leave a bathtub just in case the buyers have small children.

Question everything.

That's standard. You have to buy your own fridge as well as washer and dryer. If you want those appliances you can negotiate them into the deal, but 99% of the time they're extra.

So weird, thanks for answering though.
I figure if you're putting all that work into a house and have all the other kitchen appliances you'd have a fridge lol

Where is that standard? I've never heard anyone taking large appliances with them when they move.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Every house I've ever bought along the east coast and the midwest, new or used, never had a refrigerator in it. Fridges are a personal choice, and thus they are not usually included unless they are negotiated in advance.

Here in Philadelphia houses are required to have a stove for resale but no other appliances. I had to buy my own refrigerator and dishwasher. Luckily the cellar had a washer and dryer.

If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.
