Seriously though, my youngest daughter (age 21) saw the show for the first time today and after seeing and hearing Amie, she asked me if I knew whether or not she was transgendered.

I'm twice your daughter's age and I wondered the same thing. Also didn't realize she and Scott are a married couple. Because I thought he was a gay man. Apparently he is a straight man. ...

I was thinking that Amie was a "beard" for "So blatantly queer Scott", but maybe she has something under those designer skinny jeans that Scott actually yearns for...and I'm not talking about THAT kind of caulk.

A few times, I wondered if he had a large feminine side to him. I'm naive so homosexuality didn't enter my mind. Doesn't matter - I just hope Aimee is getting something from someone!
