Scott is the gayest married person I've ever seen.

Not to keep belabouring the point...but Jeebs, Couldn't the producers know how obvious it is.

I think they should have just went with the fact that a man who likes to flip in Vegas and happens to be gay story line. I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Just because he's a douchebag doesn't mean he has to be a straight married man.

All joking aside. I don't know if he's really gay, or just putting on that voice for effect. All the info I've seen so far says he's not. Maybe he is, and is in denial. I don't know. And really, it's nobody's business but his and Amie's.

You mean your gaydar isn't off the charts. Besides his obvious mannerisms, I haven't once seen Scott and Amie show any affection a married couple would show. Not a kiss, hug or even a touch. All they do is yell at each other and have drama spells. And I've seen evry show.

Yeah, it's not mine or anybody elses business on how they conduct their marraige but just please throw us something in the way a man/women relationship usually shows. It has set-up written all over it. Sorry.

I've mentioned more than once on this board that he seems gay to me also. I also said it looks like a tv marriage. But another poster here claims they did some research and it says they're really married.

I agree with you. It certain LOOKS like he's gay. But we have to remember this is tv. They can make him look anyway they want. I don't know if he's really gay. But it certainly looks like it. Either way, it's his life, not mine. Him being gay or not has no effect on my life, or what I think of this show.

I think Scott is just overdramatic, not gay. He is actually married to Amy. Look at their Instagram accounts and you will see how they are outside of the show. They probably would rather show the business side of their marriage instead of the romantic side on the show. I wouldn't take them seriously if they were being lovey dovey on screen.

Being married to a woman doesn't mean a guy isn't gay. Oscar Wilde? Elton John? Rock Hudson?

This guy makes my gaydar go off like nobody's business.

You don't choose the soy sauce, the soy sauce chooses you.

I was trying to figure out who he reminded me of...remember the guy who did Bily the Exterminator..talk about Drama. Everything about his voice and actions remind me of him when he's going off.

Why they were picked: Telegenic, rich and highly animated, the Yanceys filled a void on unscripted shows by unearthing the process of renovating often dilapidated, “ripped apart” (Amie’s term) vacated homes and selling them for a muscular profit. The couple’s interaction is often contentious; too, as Scott says, “We’re like Ricky and Lucy Ricardo, with some F-bombs thrown in.”

As is typically the case, Las Vegas played into the allure of the pilot. Amie says: “The 24-hour city is a magical place, there’s no place like it, and people want to see where people live here. We take them to these homes, and also show them some really cool scenery.”

How reality is different from reality TV: As Scott says, “We play hard, fight hard, love hard. They don’t show a lot of the love in there. They are going to edit out me holding Amie’s hand. If I say, ‘Thank you,’ there’s no chance in hell it’s going to make it.“

“We seem to argue all the time, but we don’t bring up work on our off time,” Amie says. Scott adds, “I might say the F-word a couple of times in over 120 hours of filming, but then you see the series and it’s like 75 times. I am saying this over and over, and my mom is watching, and I need to make it clear to her that I don’t swear that much.”

I've seen him slap her bum at least 3 times now lol I've seen him put his hand on the small of her back. So that's something.

I don't think he's gay anymore...I think he's just eccentric.

Scott's not gay he's FABULOUS!!

"Gayest married person I've ever seen." In my day that simply would have meant he was happily married. Now pass me my Brill Cream!

reply

He may be gay, I don't know. But as far as Amie goes, he met her in 1996 and they reportedly dated for four years, then got married in 2000.

I still think Aimee used to be a man.

Aimee might smoke like a fiend and that's why she sounds like that. She cracks me up though. I think she modeled her nose after Michael Jackson though..lol
