So the boat was just able to sail into town????????

That is another huge plot hole. So they sealed off the town and blocked off the road and bridge. Woulnd't they have thought of blocking off the water approaches too to keep people from leaving on their boats? You'd think the water off of the town would have a line of COast Guard vessels blocking access.

And this kind of cover up is just not realistic. Especially in this day and age and all the people in the outside world that the residents were communicating with there is absolutely no way they were all paid off, all the police and military enforcing the blockade ALL didnt say anything. Plus how would the government explain how 7000 people disapeared.

Now if it was a town of like 300 people and this was many years ago perhaps. This has one of the most outlandish plots ever.

i think the Crazies was a better movie than this.

A bunch of Coast Guard cutters might have been suspicious to people going by.
