THIS SHOW feels fake???

Please someone help me,

I have watched afew episodes, and I understand people actually lose weight but I dont believe the time lines; or the weighing in weird places like dirt tracks etc

also the amount of added drama and facial expressions from the people who are on the show and their families, it all just feels forced and feels non genuine.

I love the show and the Idea and I need help like most on this show, I am around 300LB i need to get down to 200LB;

I just hate how there is so much drama in the shows like the marriage not going through but they make up after the show ended!!!!

I understand all these shows need to bring in viewers and add drama...

Are they still taping? If so perhaps you should apply. Their are a ton of these kinds of shows on TV; you'd probably be able to find one that would pay you to come and tape the show.

All "reality" TV has some fake drama. I doubt this show is any different. I really enjoy the show and love to see what the client looks like after all their hard work.

I like it much better than "My 600 lb Life" because there is no lap bands, etc.

You're partly correct in the since that a lot of what you are watching is not a real as it appears. A lot of it is rehearsed\staged\reshot, etc. And certain real-life elements of their lives are hyped or downplayed. Example someone is caught snacking on cookies. During the episode it shown a big deal, making the audience think the person has eating handfulls of cookies almost every day. In reality the person may have had an occasional cookie, nothing that truly makes difference.

But, the people loosing weight are real, and the effort required is very real. They are not taking a skinny person, and make him gain 350lbs over a year, and show the events in reserve order...lol :)
