The thumb hook

Subject aside, I started watching this movie expecting some crappy B-rated horror movie (I was in the mood for one) and am actually impressed at the production quality so far. Hopefully the rest continues to be enjoyable.

I paused it to ask why it would be so hard for him to remove himself from the hook with his thumbs stringed together. Personally, I can get my arms above my shoulders behind my back and it's not that I'm all that flexible - it's just natural for anyone not obese which he is clearly not. I can see why they wouldn't have it overly high for the actor's comfort, but it made me wonder.

From what I understand, he was being held up by it to some extent.

Try getting your arms above your shoulders behind your back palms together an thumbs tied. I suspect you can't do that. It is uncomfortable at least for him to stand like that.

Oh, there is actually A-rated horror?
