When low budget equals excellent movie

I don't care if this is B or A or what kind of a movie. Ok, clearly the budget wasn't huge, but who cares when the story is good, the acting excellent and was way more entertaining than a lot of the crappy horror (higher budget) movies that we see nowadays (even though there are exceptions). Plus, the movie set the mood very well right from the start with good eery atmospherics and sounds.
Thumbs up, for me it's 8,5/10.

Exactly. Creepy atmosphere, good characters, good effects, not too long. Under 6 stars on IMDB is an outrage, I gave it 8/10.

Except for the limited sets, I don't think it seemed low budget at all. The demoness looked super.

limited sets didn't bother me that much, since I usually watch low budget movies.
and yeah, agree, movie was lot better then expected.

I agree this is a great story. Better than many other horror films out there.
If you like this I would suggest "Red Sands".
Another horror movie that takes place in a war setting.
In this case Afghanistan with a group of American soldiers who unwittingly release an evil spirit known as a djinn, by shooting a statue containing it.
