Matthew Fox's physique in the film?

I will admit that I was rather impressed how good Matthew Fox looked in the film since he was pretty much all muscle and managed to lose most of his body fat.

He was in his early 40's when he did the movie and he looked so good for his age!

He was a pretty charismatic & convincing villain too.

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

I thought he looked awful. Yes, he was muscular but he also looked emaciated. Dude needed to eat a pizza.

It kind of makes me wonder if he should had been cast as Batman back when the DCEU was just getting started.

He has the demeanor, the intensity, and the physique for sure. His eyes are capable of telling a story all on their own, and he definitely has the acting chops to portray a sophisticated, playboy billionaire with a deeply troubled dark side.

However -- and unfortunately -- Fox has a higher pitch to his voice with not much bass to his elocution. As much as people give Bale gripes for sounding like he had throat cancer, his voice was still VERY intimidating, especially in Batman Begins. The interrogation scene still stands out as a moment where Batman is threatening without even laying a finger on the guy.

Fox doesn't quite have that kind of intimidation factor in his vocal range, which is a real shame. That's not to say that he couldn't work on it, though. If he put some time in with a vocal coach to get some more bass in his voice, I think he would have made for an excellent Batman.

I thought he looked weird and way too skinny, which worked for the creepy character he played.

He looked much better in the earlier seasons of Lost when he was bulkier and more masculine
