The uniqueness of 11-11-11 is that every numeral is a "1": they're all the same. This can't be said for all the other so-called 'others': 01/01/01, 02/02/02, etc.

Well, it can because you don't have to include the "0". It's just 11-11-11 is 6 numbers whereas 1-1-1 is only 3 numbers so it makes it more special I guess. Of course even 11-11-11 isn't 11-11-11. It's 11-11-2011, so it is all a moot point. None of the numbers, 11-11-11 included, actually work. Unless you are just looking for a large volume of 11s regardless of numbers in between, but then that sort of makes any binary code ominous by default.
