I don't think most people have seen the right (cut of) the movie.

There are two movies called 11-11-11, both released last year.

I think some of these terrible reviews are for the other one, not the Darren Lynn Bousman one. There was also an unfinished version of this that was screened for investors before the movie was finished, and apparently the European distributors had already decided to distribute it. It was leaked as a torrent and apparently the director found out WHILE he was in Los Angeles editing the theatrical release when reviews started popping up. It's only been available for a couple of months.

If you've totally panned this movie and you illegally downloaded it, at least make an effort to see the final cut. It's pretty ridiculous to condemn something that isn't finished. Jeez, it's available on Netflix.

I liked it and gave it a 6 out of 10 - low budget, but I think the director did a good job with what he had to work with. The demons are pretty cool. My main complaint is his style of beating you over the head with the twist at the end - he seems to make a habit of it.

They're coming to get you, Barbara!

They are both on netflix and both are awful. But I will say the prophecy is better than the one with the kid.

I just got the Blu-ray (Mexico import) and it's the 92 minute "unfinished" cut... which I somehow prefer over the "finished" 82 minute American cut. Bousman's 11-11-11 isn't a perfect film to say the least, but it's an entertaining bit of cinema that, while not award worthy, certainly provides enough bang for your buck.
