Is it really that bad??? I dont think so

When i saw the rating of this film being 2.9 i thought this was going to be desparate but for what it is i dont think its that bad and nowhere near a 2.9 out of ten film. Id advise people to see it to judge for themselves but if people do or not is up to them... If i had to rate it on a whole id rate it about 5 or 6 out of ten there were some good parts and some not so good parts but nowhere near as bad as what it is being slated to be

I agree... I reviewed this after watching and gave it a 6 out of 10... it's a little shaky in places but definitely not as bad as some people paint it to be.

It's not as bad as the rating suggest but it's very far from being good. I'd give it a 5 at the utmost. Good camera-work and an ok story that fell flat. It's rare that british gangster flicks work with the subject of prostitution and sex trade and here they fvcked up an opportunity to capitalize on it. Each of the scenarios were developed in such a half-assed way and after awhile you didn't care about any of the characters.

I was near enough entertaining to make me want to watch to the end but I agree some of the scene's were pretty average, and I also agree it was hard to figure out what the directer was doing half the time. That's usually a good thing in a film but not here where it just got a bit lost. Still it was entertaining in it's own right and I would give it a five or six.

You think this is something that can be called 'real cinema'? I seriously pity you if you think this movie is as good as it gets. It's just plain stupid. I totally understood it. That's why I say it's stupid. A 2 year old could understand it. I give it 4 stars because although I found it targeted to people with no critical thinking skills, it wasn't a completely horrible movie. Something you can watch, and totally follow while reading a book.

Sorry it's four years since OP but I agree this is an OK film, and the rating now more accurately reflects its worth.

Of the Brit crime sub-genre (which let's be fair hasn't set a high benchmark) this is above average.

It has some good lines but tries too hard and too often to find them. Consequently the hit rate isn't great.

Spoiler maybe? The first killing, and its set-up and aftermath, was so unexpected that you knew anyone from then on was fair game.

A decent watch though, 6/10 for me.
