off color jokes fell flat

Usually off color humor is funny. Making fun of racial stereotypes, gender stereotypes, gay stereotypes, etc. But in this movie, the "crude guy" (I forget his name, the one who dropped out of college without telling the others) was just not funny enough to deliver the lines. He sounded too serious. I guess he has no sense of comic timing or something. It's too bad because the movie would have been much better overall if they'd worked on the joke delivery.
